Krystal Dunham, MS, RDN, LD, operates The Mother Road Dietitian, LLC., a private practice that helps adults with eating disorders and other chronic diseases through nutrition. As a second-career dietitian, her love of story-telling, connection, and nutrition inspires her to create content rooted in her philosophy that food should nourish your body and soul. Krystal’s nutrition messaging is evidence-based but also relatable and compassionate which helps her connect with folks personally during their health journey.
Before becoming a dietitian, Krystal served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia where she spearheaded health and outreach programs, empowering young individuals and enhancing community health. Krystal is a trusted expert voice for Well + Good, Men's Health, Verywell Health and MSN.com.
Krystal was awarded the 2023 Rising Leader for Dietitians in Business and Communication and the 2022 Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She served as the 2024-2025 President of the Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
